Wow, I didn't realize it had been over a month since my last post! We got a video of Ella laughing tonight, and we thought you might enjoy it. She loves when we take her arms out of sleeves...I guess it tickles!

Big Girl!

Ella has officially sized up to 3-6 month clothing, and today she was wearing a cute outfit. I just love her in jeans! She also likes sitting in her Bumbo seat for short periods of time...she's getting so big! Here are some pictures from today:

I have officially spent hours getting this blog up to date with pictures, so here's a video that's really, truly from today! I read in one of Chris' daddy books that babies tend to like the tempo of reggae music, so I tuned into "The Joint" (lol) station on XM radio. She loves to dance! We got into this video a little late, so you miss the shrieking and huge smiles she was giving a little earlier.

I skipped an event!

Oops! After I went to bed last night, I realized that I skipped MY family's visit! They came when she was about 2 weeks old. Here are some pics!

Chris' family came to visit us for Thanksiving, and here are the pictures from that visit:

A Few (3?) Weeks Old

This is Ella all dressed up for her first farm day. We went to Avery's Branch Farm a few days before Thanksgiving to pick up the Turkey. Doesn't she just look like a little farm girl?!?!?


This is also on the farm day...we were both so excited to go! It was our first real outing.

About a Week Old

Here are some pictures of when the Freeds first came to visit, along with a couple from days surrounding that visit. They all occur when Ella is between 5 and 7 days old.

I think this was after her first doctor's appointment. She's so tiny in that carseat! I'll have to find a picture of her NOW in the carseat--her legs go all the way to the end and her head touches the top of the headrest!


This is Ella wrapped up in her borrowed Moby-ish carrier for the very first time. She zonked out immediately!

It has come to my attention that I have been remiss in my duties as a new mommy by not plastering pictures of Ella all over her blog. I have about a gazillion on my computer, so I'll try to make a new post for each new era or event.
